"Money is a tool. Use it wisely and it can help you achieve your goals; use it unwisely and it can create problems that seem insurmountable."

— George Clason

Financial stress, strain, and worry are linked to significant psychological and physical health outcomes. From the moment I loaded my car with all my belongings in PA and moved across country to WA for school and a job at Pizza Hut, I’ve been invested in finding financial stability and security. What I have experienced and learned along the way, both through training and experience, makes me passionate about resourcing and helping those who are stressed about money or struggling with their finances with both practical knowledge and tools, as well as mindsets that can help build stability and flourishing.

As a white, cisgendered male, I have benefitted from systemic privilege, but I come from a hard-working family where there were no handouts. I have been self-employed most of my adult life, and had to figure out how to manage money, plan for retirement (no pension), and pay for such things as health insurance, on my own. As a real estate agent for over 25 years who has earned a reputation as one of the top agents in the Northwest, I have navigated the ups and downs of the market, both with myself and with a wide, diverse range of clients. My expertise in negotiating the best deals for my clients carries over into my desire to help others get what they want.

I am a co-host of the real estate radio show, “Street Talk” on KNWN 97.7 FM, an off-ice official for the NHL where I work Seattle home Kraken games, mostly sitting in the penalty box, coordinating with networks when the game goes to commercial. The skills needed for these side gigs, as well as officiating high-level local youth hockey, helps me look at both the big picture but also see the little things that make the difference. My marketing and management degree, my experience as a consumer credit counselor, and my ongoing commitment to excellence in all areas (cross-fit anyone?), all contribute to my ability to help you navigate your financial situation.

I know about hard work and sticking with things. I am most proud of my 31 years with my partner, Kim, and our family. Over the course of my family life, there have been numerous challenges where I’ve learned a lot about finding resources and help for an array of issues.

Favorite movies are “Dave” and “Bank of Dave”. I am solidly a 70’s and 80’s music fan. If a gas tank falls below half-full, someone other than me was driving the car.
